The CFCI GoBig program supports Duke Undergraduates developing highly innovative technological solutions to real-world societal problems. We hope to foster more extensive entrepreneurial activity and success among Duke undergraduates developing engineering solutions.

The BIG program supports tech-enabled new products and services that could have a highly positive and transformative impact on people’s lives.

Grants are made possible through the generosity of the Baquerizo Family, who challenges Duke students to pursue ambitious technology applications.

How It Works

Student teams must be nominated by advising faculty. Awards of $1000-$2000 grants.

Grants can be used to reimburse project expenses or transferred to another Duke fund code

Teams must complete digital check-ins with the BIG program to remain eligible for funds

Active Awardees will have opportunities to pitch for additional funds
