My Duke Product Lab Experience

My Duke Product Lab Experience
Through the Christensen Family Center for Innovation, I had the opportunity to take an Intro to Product Management course, which first introduced me to product management as an industry and career. I then leveraged the skills and concepts I learned into practice by co-leading a product team with Tatum Wall for Intuition, a startup dedicated to breaking toxic relationship cycles and reducing domestic abuse.

But I didn’t truly master those skills until I had the opportunity to mentor my peers. After working with Intuition to produce an MVP, I spent three wonderful semesters helping lead Product Lab as a cohort alongside the other fellows, under the direction of Anna Wilson. Being able to support and empower student teams as they worked to exceed client expectations was incredibly rewarding, and it remains one of the highlights of my Duke journey.

After Duke Product Lab

After graduating from Duke, I moved to New York City to begin my product career at FOX. For me, Product Lab served as a bridge between the academic curriculum and the real world, creating an environment that empowers students to explore product management and discover it as a potential career. As an alum, I’m proud to have been part of the program and excited to see how it continues to grow and evolve in the future.
